Day 1: Nam Ha Village – Campsite – Approx. 4-5 hours
Meet at 9:00 am at the office for a brief introduction with your group and guide, then travel by Tuk Tuk to the starting point. En route, stop at a local market to purchase food supplies. Begin trekking from Nam Ha village with a knowledgeable local guide, exploring plantations before entering the untouched jungle of Nam Ha National Protected Area. Enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. Guides will share ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants, edible leaves, and demonstrate traditional hunter camp setup, preparing delicious Khmu jungle food using jungle resources. Continue downhill through primary forest to reach the campsite.
Day 2: Campsite – Nalan – Chalernsouk Village–Approx. 4-5 hours
Wake up to the sounds of wildlife in the morning and enjoy breakfast. Cross Nam Ha River and explore Nalan Village, recognized for its ASEAN Standard of Community-Based Tourism 2018. Learn about Khmu lifestyle, culture, and traditions before hiking uphill through the forest. Enjoy a traditional lunch along the forest path. Then, embark on a leisurely two-hour downhill hike to Chalernsouk Village, where a Tuk Tuk will transport you back to Luang Namtha.
